Parish Run off to Woodard Creek -The Season of Creation

For the fifth Sunday of the Season of Creation The Parish runoff to Woodard Creek will be featured in our Prayers of the People. This is the creek that runs next to St. Peter's Hospital an has its origin in the wetlands between Pacific and Martin Avenues.
While the southern portion of this sub-basin is endangered, the northern portion is among the most protected. Large tracts of land around the waterway are protected by a Department of Natural Resources (DNR) as a Natural Areas Preserve.
