Poinsettias for Christmas

During Advent the floral decoration of the church is in keeping with the season. This is because Advent is a time for contemplation and hope, rather than celebration. We use greens to remind us that this is a time of waiting and anticipating the full joy of the Nativity of the Lord.
Christmas Eve and the birth of our Lord is our time of celebration with flowers and Poinsettias.  If you would like to give, any amount, we will use that money for our Christmas Eve flowers. Envelopes are in the Narthex as you come into the church.  Please make checks out to St. Benedict with altar Guild in the memo line.
